This is a sukajan (souvenir jacket) style jacket. It is a unisex design, so anyone could wear it. For example, the official Insert Coin storefront shows both a man and woman wearing the large size. The jacket is available in sizes XS through 3XL. It is red, like the Samurai job’s clothing, and features the Final Fantasy XIV job’s icon stitched on the front in black. On the back, you can see the embroidered Sen Gauge icons in their matching colors. The jacket also has black sleeves with a red stripe and yellow accents.

Here’s a closer look at it:

Previously, the two companies came together for another jacket. Around the Endwalker launch, there was a similar piece based on the Paladin.

This comes ahead of the latest free trial update for the MMORPG. Square Enix confirmed that people who test it out can now go through the Stormblood expansion when they do. This means the trial includes the base game and two expansions, as it previously only included the base game and Heavensward.

The Square Enix and Insert Coin Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood Samurai job jacket will arrive in December 2023. FFXIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and the free trial now includes the Stormblood expansion.
