Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes the series back to its roots in more ways than one, including the skill points system. Since it isn’t a true RPG in the way the past few games were, knowing how to get more Assassin’s Creed Mirage skill points is a bit weirder and less explained than you might expect. Fortunately, I have your back.
How to get more Assassin’s Creed Mirage skill points
To get more Assassin’s Creed Mirage skill points, you need to simply continue playing the game and complete the different quests and investigation cases you get. Since there is no leveling system in this game, you only get skill points from the missions you complete. This usually includes the main story quests and investigation cases.
One of the quickest ways to upgrade your character in Assasin’s Creed Mirage is to open up the Investigation tab of the main menu and locate the next open case you have. Pursue it, and you usually get at least one skill point for every case you close in the main story. Some of the more important ones, such as assassinating a core target in the plot, will grant you even more skill points.
Best early game skills in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Once you have some skill points to use, you can head to the Skills tab and start unlocking the various upgrades there. Some skills cost one point, while others might require three points, and so on. There are three skill branches, including the Phantom, Trickster, and Predator categories.
Here are the early-game skills you should grab:
- Auto-Collect: It lets you automatically loot enemies you assassinate.
- Elixir Pocket: This lets you hold more elixirs to heal yourself.
- Breakfall: This lets you reduce the damage from falling from high heights.
Can you respec skills in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
If you ever regret a skill decision you make, the game makes it incredibly easy to respec your skills at any time. All you have to do is hold the “Square” button on PlayStation or the “X” button on Xbox to reset individual skills and reuse those points elsewhere. You can also reset all skills at once if you’d like. This feature is also unlimited, so feel free to experiment to your heart’s content.
