FFVII Rebirth Screenshots Show Junon, Gold Saucer, and Chocobo Ranches

Following the 2023 Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix shared an array of FFVII Rebirth screenshots showing places like Gold Saucer and Junon, as well as minigames and other activities. All of these offer peeks at what to expect. For example, the new Queen’s Blood minigame is shown for the first time. There’s also a look at the new Chadley towers we’ll activate in the game.

First, here’s a gallery looking at the various FFVII Rebirth Chocobo Ranch, Gold Saucer, and Junon screenshots. The Junon ones show both the upper portion, which Shinra is essentially using as a military base, and the lower part that features the remains of the village that once stood there.

As for minigames, three ended up appearing in the new screenshot drop. Two show off Moogle Mischief. This involves Cloud running around to catch the Mooglets and get them to mogstools, even though they’ll fight back. Queen’s Blood takes place on a 5×3 grid and involves playing cards to become more powerful than opponents. Finally, Cloud can play the piano at certain points.

Finally, the other miscellaneous FFVII Rebirth screenshots show other activities. If you activate old republic remnawave towers, you can see more of the map and points of interest. You can also fix Chocobo Stops, take part in an excavation if you’re riding a chocobo, or take on Chadley Combat Assignments to improve his combat simulator.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will come to the PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024. There is a Collector’s Edition with extra items and a Sephiroth figure. The exclusivity period runs until at least May 29, 2024.
