Feebas is one of the most sought-after Pokemon you can now collect in The Teal Mask Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC. This is mainly because of its magnificent evolution Milotic, which is one of the best Water-type Pokemon in the Kitakami Pokedex.

How to Evolve Feebas into Milotic in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

You can evolve Feebas into Milotic in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask DLC after catching it in the Fellhorn Gorge by finding a Prism Scale. You can find this valuable evolution item as a random drop in the Fellhorn Gorge, but you aren’t guaranteed to find one there.

On the other hand, the best way to guarantee a Prism Scale is to catch 140 or more different Pokemon in The Teal Mask Pokedex. You get a Prism Scale as a reward for this.

Unfortunately, finding the Prism Scale isn’t enough to evolve Feebas on its own. You need to then trade it with someone else while it is holding this item. Be careful with this, as someone could theoretically steal your Milotic. Only trade with people you know and trust or someone else who might need to evolve their own Feebas.

How to Catch Milotic in The Teal Mask

There is one way to catch a Milotic in The Teal Mask without evolving Feebas. If the evolution process is too much for you, there is a static encounter with a Milotic during the main story when you reach the Crystal Pool.

You can catch this powerful Milotic, but the catch here is you can’t find it as a shiny. If you want to shiny hunt for a Milotic, you’ll have to find a shiny Feebas first, then evolve it using the traditional method above.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s The Teal Mask DLC is available for Nintendo Switch. The Indigo Disk DLC will release in Winter 2023.
