If you are on PC or Windows, you may want to know where your Starfield saves can be found. The game folder location is where you can move or edit your character’s data. Here is where to find those saves in Starfield.
Where are Starfield saves stored on the PC?
If you are playing Starfield on PC, your save file can be found in “My Games” in your “Documents” folder. You will need to access your “C:” drive to find the game file.
To easily locate your Starfield save, I have provided a screenshot and the exact file path below:
- C:\Users(your username)\Documents\My Games\Starfield.
How do I find my Starfield saves on the Xbox Series X?
On both PC and console, Starfield only shows the last 20 save files of your playthrough and hides the rest. But what if you want to load your game from hours earlier? I know there were quite a few times in my game where I realized I had missed something important and wanted to go back to my earlier character level. Thankfully, you can!
Below are the steps you can take to load all of your saves in Starfield:
- Pause your game and select the “Load” option in the menu.
- Press the “Y” button on Xbox to access the “Select Character” screen.
- Finally, click the “Show all Saves” tab to load every save you have made in the game.
If you find yourself regretting a Starfield Skill you have invested in, you can easily use this trick to load an older save before you have spent your experience points. This is also useful if you are like me and like taking screenshots of various epic moments in the story. Bethesda actually keeps every save you have ever made, and you can even load your level 1 file if you want to.
Starfield is now available on the Xbox Series XXbox Series X and on PC. and on PC.
