Bethesda collaborated with mattress company Tempur to create an official gaming chair themed around the upcoming Starfield. While there’s no news yet on whether or when the chair will be available for purchase, those attending gamescom between August 23-27, 2023 will be able to take it for a test ride.
The Starfield Tempur Dream Chair uses the company’s mattress technology that it boasts was fittingly “born from NASA technology.” The chair itself has a more blocky, industrial design than other gaming chairs, including the other Starfield themed ones like those produced by noblechairs. The model also appears to come with a full display and controls, though whether they are functional or purely decorative remains to be seen.
It's a long journey–you'll want a comfy cockpit.

Bethesda previously announced the Starfield preload times for both PC and Xbox ahead of the upcoming launch, and dropped an official timeline of events for the game’s setting. Previous Starfield merchandise includes an $85 flight jacket and a Collector’s Edition that comes with a watch, steelcase and digital goodies like the artbook and in-game skins.
Starfield will launch on September 6, 2023 for the PC and Xbox Series X. There is currently no information on when or if the Starfield Tempur Dream gaming chair will be available for sale.
