The Kawasui Kawasaki Aquarium in Kawasaki, Japan will hold an event with the anime Attack on Titan. The collaboration event will be titled “Attack on Titan x Kawasui Kawasaki Aquarium: Investigate the Waterside Where the Titans Lurk.” As someone might expect, it will feature original collaboration goods. The Attack on Titan merchandise will be distributed by AMNIBUS by arma bianca, a brand that facilitates anime collaboration merchandise production, and be available in Japan. The event will run from October 13, 2023 to January 8, 2024. An official website is opened. Details and additional information will be announced at a later date. [Thanks, PRTimes!]
Some new artwork launched alongside the event announcement. The promotional designs feature major characters Eren, Levi, Jean, and Erwin swimming under the ocean. Chibi versions of Eren, Levi, Mikasa, and Armin with animals can also be seen. Eren appears to be pictured with a capybara. Levi is posing with his arms-crossed and a sloth nearby. Mikasa is matching a nearby flamingo’s pose. Armin is cheering on a tortoise. These designs are expected to appear on the new Attack on Titan merchandise.
As a reminder, 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the first episode of the Attack on Titan anime airing. After an eleven year run, the manga completed its final chapter in 2021.
