During the August 2023 Pokemon Presents, Nintendo announced Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon Stadium 2 are now available for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers to play. As the former is a Game Boy Color title, it can be played with the base subscription. As the latter is an N64 game, it requires the higher Expansion Pass tier.
Pokemon Trading Card Game sees us collecting cards, building a deck, and facing other in-game trainers to battle for supremacy. You could also use your decks to battle other players.
As for Pokemon Stadium 2, it allows you to battle in arenas with even more Pokemon. It added characters from the Gold and Silver entries. There are also minigames included in the collection for people to play. As someone can’t import Pokemon from the Game Boy cartridges for this, players will need to use in-game rentals when they play the game.
