Ahead of the Final Fantasy XVI launch, a 3D ad featuring Eikon characters like Ifrit and Titan, appeared. It is now running in Shinjuku in Tokyo. It follows the tradition of past ads from Square Enix, like one for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade that appeared in December 2021.
First, here’s Square Enix’s announcement of the new Final Fantasy XVI ads, including the ones with the Eikons that will appear in Shinjuku in Tokyo. It also showed some of the advertisements that will appear in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Shibuya.

Next, here’s a video from Musebigenkai on Twitter showing the 3D billboard during the day. The ad begins with Ifrit roaring. Then, Titan grabs him. Shiva appears and unleashes an icy attack after that. Odin shows up to face Ifrit after that. It ends with Ifrit unleashing a final attack.

Final Fantasy XVI will be available for the PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023. A demo can be downloaded now. There is a six-month exclusivity period.
