The Druid class starts out slow in Diablo IV before eventually dealing devastating amounts of damage with its ferocious animal companions. Because of this, you will want to use the right Skills and Passives to level up quickly through the opening content. Here’s the best early-game Druid build in Diablo IV.

What Druid build should I use in the Diablo 4 early game?

The Druid class can wield powerful nature-based magic while also overwhelming enemies with an army of wild animal companions. Like Necromancer, though, you will need to survive through the first 50 levels of Diablo IV before the companion-based class starts to truly reach its full potential.

In the Diablo IV early-game, you should rely on Tornado to keep enemies at a distance with its widespread AOE damage. Using the spell in combination with Earthern Bulwark will keep your warrior well-protected from any of the earlier encounters. Once you unlock your animal companions, a handful of passive buffs will then turn your furry friends into a storm of relenting damage to carry you through to endgame content.

Which Druid Skills should I go for in Diablo IV, then?

I recommend spending your Skill Points on the following Skills and Passives:

Which Aspects should I use on my Druid build?

To really get the best out of your early-game Druid build, you will need to use Aspects. The extra perks can have a substantial impact on Skills and passives by buffing your animal companions and magic. These are the four Aspect I recommend using:

  • Aspect of Mending Stone: Earthern Bulwark is increased by six seconds and when you get a kill with an Earth Skill, it replenishes a percentage of your active Earthern Bulwark’s Barrier.
  • Shepherd’s Aspect: Core Skills deal additional damage for each active Companion.
  • Aspect of the Umbral: Restores a percentage of your Primary Resource when you Crowd Control an enemy.
  • Aspect of the Alpha: Your Wolf Companions become Werewolf Champions. They deal additional damage and can spread rabies to enemies.

Diablo IV is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
