Super Mario Bros Movie Blu-ray and DVD Pre-orders Open

While there’s no exact release date yet for The Super Mario Movie Blu-ray, DVD, or digital release, a number of stores are already accepting pre-orders or putting up product listings. There are also some special offers at a few of them. Pre-orders for physical copies are open at Target and Walmart already. Best Buy has a listing live, but isn’t accepting orders yet. Amazon has options to pre-order digital copies of the film.

At Walmart, the option is a The Super Mario Bros Movie Limited Edition gift set in a tin star shaped like the invincibility power-up. That gives people the Blu-ray, 4K ultra HD, and digital copy. There is also a display stand for the star. It costs $37.96.

The Target The Super Mario Bros Movie option gives people the Blu-ray, DVD, and digital version of the film in one package. It costs $26.99. The special offer here is that the box has 3D lenticular art of Mario on it.

The Best Buy version will cost $36.99 when it is available. It will involve the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray. Its exclusive element is a Steelbook case with the Super Mushroom power-up on it.

As for Amazon, it only offers pre-orders for the digital release. The SD, HD, and UHD versions are all available for $29.99 each.

The Super Mario Bros Movie is in theaters now, and pre-orders are open for the Blu-ray and DVD at various retailers. The film will show up in Japan on April 28, 2023.
