Marvelous announced action-RPG Trinity Trigger will launch on May 16, 2023 in Europe and Australia. The Three Rings-developed title first released in Japan on September 15, 2022. Furyu was the publisher there. A free demo showcasing the first few hours of the game debuted alongside the full game’s release.
Trinity Trigger takes place in the fantasy world of Tritania, where the gods of Order and Chaos choose warriors to fight in their stead. There, Cyan, Elise, and Zantis embark on an adventure to put an end to this millenary battle and escape their grim fate.
The gameplay involves real-time combat mainly focused on the use of “Triggers.” These are small creatures that transform into weapons and change each character’s abilities. Additionally, it allows up to 3 players in optional local co-op.
Alongside the announcement, Marvelous also shared a few images of the game. In the screenshots, you can see details of the simplistic UI consisting of the mini-map, treasure counter, and each character’s life and stamina bars.
#TrinityTrigger also features a star-studded group of RPG developers!
