Nintendo shared a new gameplay trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom during the February 8, 2023 Nintendo Direct. The game will come out on May 12, 2023. Pre-orders for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are open now. A new amiibo figure of Link from the sequel will be available on release day.
The new gameplay trailer showed the effects of a mysterious new enemy attempting to wipe out Hyrule. Link is seen traversing through the familiar map of Breath of the Wild, albeit with additions, such as his new special arm abilities, different type of land and air vehicles that allows link to traverse all the different terrain in this new Hyrule.
Alongside its retail version, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will have a collector’s edition. It includes a steelbook case, an artbook, and a special box among others. Tears of the Kingdom acts as direct sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

A recent update of the Nintendo website showed that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will cost $70, an increase of $10 compared to other mainline Nintendo titles, including Breath of the Wild.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will come out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023.
