The plot of One Piece Film: Red focuses a lot on music. The characters are attending Uta’s music festival, and quite a bit of the promotional material prior to the movie’s debut featured music videos of songs that are in the film. Though Kaori Nazuka (Soul Eater, Code Geass) voices Uta in the plot, singer Ado provides her singing voice. On August 16, 2022, Spotify Japan also announced that Ado’s album for One Piece Film: Red was number five on the service’s global debut albums.

One Piece Film: Red is available in theaters in Japan.
