Legendary’s been putting together its Monsterverse since the 2014 Godzilla movie. While some of the most notable members of it are Godzilla and King Kong, additional characters like Baphomet, Behemoth, Mechagodzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, Mother Longlegs, Rodan, Scylla, and Skull Devil are also considered part of it. While most installments in the line so far are movies, shows are on the way. Netflix’s Skull Island anime is set to be part of it.

There have been quite a few different Godzilla shows and movies in the last few years. For example, Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno’s Shin Godzilla appeared in 2016. The Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie showed up worldwide in 2019. Netflix offered the Godzilla: Singular Point anime series staring in 2021. He also faced off against fellow monster King Kong in the aforementioned Monsterverse movie Godzilla vs. King Kong in 2021.

The new Godzilla live action series is in development for Apple TV+. There’s no release window for it yet.
