Tales of Luminaria Japanese Voice Actors Being Added to Global

Japanese voice acting, a requested Tales of Luminaria feature, is heading to the global version of the game. Bandai Namco released a new letter from the developers. At the end of the message, the new language option appeared under the “Plans for Future Updates” section. However, before that, people will see the first Tales of Luminaria Crossroads episode.

Ahead of the game’s launch, Tales of Luminaria Producer Sugi confirmed that the Japanese voice actors option would only be in the Japanese version of the game. At the time, he said the team behind the game did want more options available worldwide. He also said, “That said, while it may be difficult, if there are enough comments to warrant adding Japanese to the game we’ll make sure to consider it. So please—make yourself heard via our social media channels.”

As for the Crossroads Tales of Luminaria episodes, these are the crossover ones with multiple members of the cast interacting. This is when the 21 characters’ stories will come together at certain points. Bandai Namco confirmed that every time every current chapter for each character is finally released, a Crossroads one will show up to show progression. The first Crossroads episode will appear on February 1, 2022, after Bastien and Lucien’s first chapters appear.

Tales of Luminaria is available on Android and Apple iOS devices, and the first one of its Crossroads episodes will appear on February 1, 2022. Future updates don’t have exact dates yet. However, Japanese voices will eventually come to the global version of Tales of Luminaria.
