Babylon’s Fall Broadcast to Include Gameplay and New Information

Square Enix announced a Babylon’s Fall live broadcast will be held on January 5, 2022. The broadcast will feature new information, and primarily focus on gameplay. Director Kenji Saito of PlatinumGames will appear during the broadcast. It will begin at 9pm JST/4am PT/7am ET/1pm CET. The broadcast will only be available in Japanese. Additionally, Square Enix released a new Babylon’s Fall trailer to bring in the new year. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The trailer features a new recorded version of a classic song about the fall of Icarus. It also showcases several areas and monsters that will appear in the game.

The Babylon’s Fall live broadcast will be available to watch through YouTube and Japanese streaming platform NicoNico. Additionally, Planner Isao Negishi and Management Director Takanao Sugiyama of PlatinumGames, and Square Enix Producer Junichi Ehara will appear during the broadcast.

Babylon’s Fall previously had several closed beta test periods. Players were able to play through certain segments of the game during this period. This included exploring the player hub, and participating in co-op missions.

Babylon’s Fall will release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on March 3, 2022. Those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition will receive early access to the game on February 28, 2022.
