The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Release Date Set for May

Back in October 2021, a tentative “early summer 2022” window was offered for the upcoming The Quintessential Quintuplets movie release date. Now, it’s been pinned down. On May 20, 2022, the film will open in Japan. There’s also a new trailer for it. It hints at some of the events people will see, while also showing off how all five sisters will look in the movie.

First, here’s the new The Quintessential Quintuplets movie trailer. It first shows all five of the Nakano sisters as children. Then, we get better looks at each of them as they are now. First, we see Itsuki. Then, Yotsuba appears. After that is Nino. Ichika shows up after that. Finally, Miku appears.

The official website also shared a new key visual for the film. It features a picture of each of the sisters. Each one is set at night.

As a reminder, this movie is appearing in place of a new season of the show. Back in April 2021, we learned it would act as season 3 of The Quintessential Quintuplets.

The Quintessential Quintuplets movie release date for Japan is May 20, 2022. There’s no word regarding a worldwide debut yet. People can watch the first and second seasons of the anime on both Crunchyroll and Funimation. Kodansha’s US branch handles the English localization of the manga.
