More of the Pop Team Epic anime adaptation is on the way, as a new season 2 is coming. The announcement and teaser came up right as Pop Team Epic Repeat, the remix of the original, ended on December 25, 2021. The new episodes will arrive sometime in 2022. [Thanks, Crunchyroll!]
Here’s the teaser that hints at the new Pop Team Epic anime season 2 debut. It doesn’t show any new footage. However, it does feature Shouta (SHOWTA) Aoi, who played himself in two episodes of the show. (He also plays Ortho Shroud in Twisted Wonderland, Melchior in The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki, and Gerald Stuart in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!.)
There is also a piece of art teasing the new episodes. It is designed to resemble a cover of a magazine like Weekly Shonen Jump.

The new Pop Team Epic season 2 will debut in 2022, and the original anime and Pop Team Epic Repeat are available on Crunchyroll. The original is also available on Funimation. Neither service announced if they will offer to stream the new episodes of the show outside of Japan yet. Kodansha handled the localization of the Bkub Okawa manga.
