Rengoku and Akaza Figma Demon Slayer Figures Pre-Orders Open

Good Smile Company opened up pre-orders for figma figures of Kyojuro Rengoku and Akaza from Demon Slayer. Pre-orders for Rengoku are open from December 10, 2021 to January 20, 2022, whereas Akaza is available from December 10, 2021 until February 10, 2022. While the Akaza figma costs 11,000 JPY ($109.99), Rengoku costs 12,000 JPY ($119.99). Both figures will come out in September 2022 in Japan and November 2022 in North America.

The Rengoku figma will come with three face plates, as well as his Nichirin Blade. It will also come with three different flame effects that resemble his Flame Breathing. Those who purchase both the Akaza and Rengoku figures can pose them like they are fighting, recreating their duel from the Mugen Train. Rengoku will also come with a bento box, a crossed arms part, and his katana’s scabbard.

While the Akaza figma will also come with three face plates, he has fewer optional parts than Rengoku. This is due to Akaza’s fighting style relying solely on his fists, as opposed to Rengoku’s swordsmanship. However, the Akaza figma will have his Destructive Death: Compass Needle effect plate.

Due to his role in the Demon Slayer Mugen Train Arc, Rengoku is a fairly popular character, with multiple pieces of merchandise available of him. For example, Good Smile Company is also releasing two versions of a scale figure that depicts Rengoku from his fight against Akaza. Like the figma, the scale figure – specifically the Complete Edition version – will come with flame effects.

The Demon Slayer Rengoku and Akaza figma figures are available to pre-order via the Good Smile Company website. Pre-orders for Rengoku close on January 20, 2022, while Akaza’s close on February 10, 2022. Demon Slayer is streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
