Genshin Impact Version 2.3 Banners Feature Familiar Faces

miHoYo has uploaded a sneak peek of what’s in store for Genshin Impact when Version 2.3 Phase I goes live. As a reminder, the new update will launch on November 24, 2021. While the majority of the page consists of information from the live-stream, there are some new tidbits here and there regarding character banners and quests for Genshin Impact Version 2.3.

As the update brings with it the continuation of the Dragonspine event from last winter, it is no surprise that Albedo will make a reappearance in the character banner. Eula will also show up for a limited time during the same duration. Both banners share the same pity rate. Bennett, Rosaria, and Noelle will also enjoy rate-ups during this time, and you can pull for them from both the Albedo and the Eula banners.

The weapons that will appear on the banner include the Freedom-Sworn sword, the Song of Broken Pines claymore, and the Wine and Song catalyst. Freedom-Sworn first appeared in Version 1.6. In simple terms, it increases a character’s ATK when they trigger an Elemental Reaction.

Song of Broken Pines first appeared in Version 1.5. Similar to Freedom-Sworn, its effect focuses on obtaining stacks and then consuming them for a buff. Hitting an opponent gives a Sigil of Whispers, and after you obtain four, your character’s attack and attack speed increase.

As a reminder, the Shadows Amidst Snowstorms event will allow you to obtain the Cinnabar Spindle sword. Aside from Shadows Amidst Snowstorms, there is also the Bantan Sango Case Files: The Warrior Dog event that’ll provide rewards such as Primogems and Hero’s Wit experience books.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Version 2.3 Phase I will go live on November 24, 2021.
