DNF Duel was originally announced in December 2020 with a similarly short trailer. The game is based on Dungeon Fighter Online, an online action RPG originally released to Korea in 2005. Nexon released the game in Japan under the title Arad Senki (Records of Arad War). The game later received a worldwide release in 2016 and is currently free to play on Steam.
Korea-based Nexon and its subsidiary Neople are developing DNF Duel in partnership with Arc System Works. Publisher Nexon had not offered any updates about the DNF Duel‘s development until now. The new trailer gives fans a glimpse at some of the characters featured in the game, such as the Berserker, Inquisitor, Striker, Grappler, and Ranger. Additionally, Nexon has also opened up an official DNF Duel Twitter account.
