Natsume Atari will publish a physical release of The Medium in Japan for the PlayStation 5, and it will feature a Japanese dub. One of several pre-order bonuses include an original soundtrack for The Medium by Akira Yamaoka. It will release in Japan on March 10, 2022 and will cost 8,580 yen, or $75. Additionally, while the Japanese PlayStation 5 release of the The Medium will include a Japanese dub, players can switch between the English and Japanese dub freely. Hana Takeda will provide the voice for Marianne, the protagonist of The Medium. The official NAP Games YouTube account has released a trailer, showcasing the Japanese voice acting.

The Medium originally released for Xbox Series X and PC in January 2021. During the initial reveal of the game, it was announced that Silent Hill series composer would provide tracks for the original soundtrack. In June 2021, developers Bloober Team entered a partnership with Konami. The official statement revealed that the developer would be working with Konami to “jointly develop selected contents.”
The Medium is immediately available for Xbox Series X, PC, and PlayStation 5. The Medium will release for PlayStation 5 in Japan on March 10, 2022.
