SMT V Demon Digest Videos Resume With Hydra

They aren’t over yet. Atlus is still releasing Shin Megami Tensei V demon videos in Japan. We only got a brief reprieve due to the game launching. But now, the SMT V trailers resumed with a look at Hydra. Who is a character that, if people have begun playing the game, has something of a notable role.

Hydra is a character from Greek mythology. It’s a nine-headed serpent that Heracles killed during one of his feats. In SMT V, the Hydra is weak against ice attacks, but is strong against fire attacks and can’t be poisoned. It’s known for having affinities for both fire spells and physical attacks. It can use Fire Breath+3 and Toxic Breath. In its trailer, we get to see the Nahobino and his allies face the foe in a fight.

There are 214 demons in SMT V, and Atlus intends to show people every one of them. Its video series dedicates a trailer to each notable character. In case you missed some of the ones that appeared before Hydra, here’s how 20 other characters look in SMT V.
