Beyond taking 3D pictures, the Nintendo 3DS camera has a few other uses that you’ll find in this video. For starters, the camera works with augmented reality cards to create “holographic” AR games. In Japan, the 3DS comes with six different AR cards in the box.

 

It also has another very cool function, which involves creating Miis. You can point the outer cameras at someone’s face, snap a photograph of them, and the 3DS automatically creates a Mii for you based on their facial features.
