NHK recently published the results for its Final Fantasy character popularity poll, which ran from December 2019 and included characters, games, bosses/summons, and music.
There were 468,654 votes in total. According to the poll results, Emet-Selch is number six in popularity, while Sephiroth is number 11. Below are the top 25 character rankings in order.

The poll also ranked Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy VII, and Final Fantasy VI as favorite games in the series. As for bosses and summons, Knights of the Round (FFVII), Kefka (FFVI), and Hades (FFXIV) are the top three choices. According to the music section, the top three songs are “To Zanarkand,” “Battle on the Big Bridge,” and “Eyes on Me.”
Quite a bit of FFXIV news came up in September 2021. Square Enix published some “Tales from the Twilight” short stories. The publisher also updated the fan kit with new wallpapers and icons from both the Endwalker expansion and Patch 5.5.
Final Fantasy XIV is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker will release on November 23, 2021. Players who pre-ordered it will have access on November 19, 2021.
