Takara Tomy will release a Demon Slayer Feltymichine sewing machine and Ohajiki Seal sticker maker for children. Both items will be available in Japan on October 2, 2021. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
The Demon Slayer Feltymichine is a sewing machine powered by AA batteries. It will let children safely sew items made of felt without any strings. The package, priced at 6,578 yen (~$60), will come with felt sheets that users can sew into pouches, charms, and hair accessories. Takara Tomy will also release separate sets of sheets that let the user sew other items with more character designs.
Meanwhile, the Ohajiki Seal is a tool that will let its users create Demon Slayer sticker sheets with a pressed clear cover. The package will come with a sticker sheet and a set of cover parts. The user will be able to create up to 48 stickers. The stickers feature three different shapes — circle, star, and heart — and the set will include 16 stickers for each shape. The package will be available at 3,850 yen (~$35).
Other than the above products, Takara Tomy will also release a Demon Slayer Game of Life board game in October 2021. Many other entities, including McDonald’s and the Japanese baseball team Rakuten Eagles, are also producing merchandise based on the famous franchise.
CyberConnect2 is currently working on the first console video game for Demon Slayer, The Hinokami Chronicles. Aniplex will release the game in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 14, 2021. Sega will publish the English version worldwide on October 15, 2021.
