Byakko, aka Bai Hu, Gets a SMT V Trailer

A gigantic white tiger is hunting down the Nahobino in the new Shin Megami Tensei V video. The latest demon digest looks at one the White Tiger of the West, one of the Chinese constellation symbols. People get a chance to see how Byakko, also known as Bai Hu, will appear when in the overworld or attacking in SMT V. Previously, Genbu (Xuan Wu) also appeared.

Byakko doesn’t have much to say in the SMT V, as instead the tiger growls and hunts down the Nahobino in the new footage. Though traditionally Bai Hu’s element is “metal,” the character uses Mazionga+5 against a horde of opponents. The video also shows it using a number of special physical attacks against other demons.

At the end of the SMT V Byakko trailer, another “beast” appears. This silhouette doesn’t have any especially striking features, but it does show another four-legged friend with sharp teeth is on the way.

We’re now up to 65 of the 214 demons revealed. Each character that will show up will get their own video. Here are the 20 most recent ones to appear before Byakko.
