SMT V Kurama Tengu

Kurama Tengu Spreads His Wings in SMT V

Atlus shared its 30th Shin Megami Tensei V demon digest video on July 16, 2021. It also continued the streak of showing off characters we’ve seen in SMT and its spin-offs before. Kurama Tengu gets his moment in his SMT V trailer. It’s a character that first debuted in SMT III Nocturne, which recently got an HD Remaster in 2021.

After the introductory summon and Kurama Tengu’s reveal in SMT V, the video jumps into a battle. He first attacks a Turk, then goes after a Mothman. The video closes out with a recruitment conversation between the Nahobino and Kurama Tengu.

As for the next SMT V demon, it looks like another oni is on the way. The silhouette almost looks like Oni, but the weapon, horns, and armor aren’t quite right.

With Kurama Tengu’s reveal, we now know 30 of the SMT V demons. Eventually, all of the over 200 characters appearing will get their own video spot. For now though, these are the last 20 videos Atlus shared so far. All of them involve returning members of the roster from past games.
