It wasn't that long ago Mistwalker announced a DS version of Blue Dragon (developed by AQ Interactive) and another DS RPG AWAY, and many were wondering whether or not Blue Dragon DS was going to have a card-based battle system as originally believed. Well you can toss that idea out the door because this scan from Jeux-France pretty much solidifies the fact that Blue Dragon DS is a Simulation RPG in the vein of Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings.
You guessed it. You'll be able to move Shu, Jiro, Kluke, Marumaro, Zola, and even King Jibral and some new companions (Poo Snake!) around the field in a real time battle system with an RPG feel, saving the world once more from a menacing threat! Whether or not that's your cup of tea is beyond me, but at least you know now that Blue Dragon DS does exist. When more information on Blue Dragon DS becomes available, you can be sure we'll let you know.
