Details regarding the main cast of characters in Blue Reflection: Second Light have been revealed. This includes a look at new character artwork provided for the upcoming game, and brief character biographies. Blue Reflection: Second Light will feature several key characters. Details regarding the main character, Ao Hoshizaki (CV: Kanako Yanagihara), have been shared through the official website. Additionally, renders for both her standard out and “Reflector” form have been released.
Ao is an ordinary girl who after receiving red marks on her exam, went to school to take supplementary lessons. However, she was suddenly whisked away to a strange world. This is where she met Kokoro, Yuki, and Rena. They are working together to try and find a way to return to the real world.
Kokoro Utsubo (CV: Tomoyo Takayanagi) is the first girl Ao meets in the strange world. She is kind to Ao. However, her memory has been lost and she is unsure if she is a resident of this other world or from the real world.
Yuki Kinjou (CV: Yu Serizawa) is a bright and energetic girl who spends her days looking for fun in this strange situation. She, like Kokoro, has also lost her memory.
Rena Miyauchi (CV: Maki Kawase) is another girl who lives at the school with Kokoro. Sometimes negative, she tends to come off very harshly she is actually a very gentle person. Rena is someone who always takes a step back to look at the bigger picture. Like the others, she has also lost her memory.
Hinako Shirai (CV: Yuki Takada) is a returning character from Blue Reflection. Her dream was to become a ballet dancer, but an injury has prevented her from realizing this dream. Hinako has also lost her memory.
As it stands, these are the currently revealed characters that will appear in Blue Reflection: Second Light. More information regarding the game and it systems will appear at a later date.
Blue Reflection: Second Light will release for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 21, 2021 in Japan. An Western release of the game is planned.
