Tekken‘s Kazuya Mishima will be the newest addition to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster. The character was announced in the June 15, 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation. The Kazuya Smash DLC will release sometime after a June 28, 2021 presentation.
Part of “Fighters Pass Vol. 2,” Kazuya joins ARMS‘ Min Min, Minecraft‘s Steve & Alex, Final Fantasy‘s Sephiroth and Xenoblade Chronicles 2‘s Pyra & Mythra. This second wave of Smash Bros. DLC will conclude with the release of one more unrevealed character. Kazuya is included in the $29.99 Fighters Pass, but is also available individually for $5.99.

Kazuya will be Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s 81st numbered fighter. In addition to the standalone Piranha Plant DLC, the first five-character Fighters Pass added Joker (Persona), Hero (Dragon Quest), Terry (Fatal Fury), Byleth (Fire Emblem), and Banjo & Kazooie.
The Kazuya Mishima Smash Bros. DLC will include a stage and music tracks. More details on the fighter will be covered in a video presentation on June 28, 2021 at 10 a.m. Eastern / 7 a.m. Pacific.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and its Fighters Pass Vol. 2 are out now. Kazuya will be added to the game soon.
