The next The Dark Pictures Anthology is being hinted at ahead of a full reveal. Bandai Namco shared a look at Supermassive Games’ next horror adventure. The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes teaser trailer is now online. It offers a vague idea of what to expect ahead of a 9am PT/12pm ET reveal on May 27, 2021.
This House of Ashes teaser trailer is actually somewhat lengthy. It’s about a minute and a half long. It also hints at a possible antagonist. After soldiers drop into a Sumerian temple while fighting in Iraq, they’re forced to deal with something hunting them down. This means people who were formerly enemies and in the midst of a fight might have to cooperate to escape.

This will mark the third The Dark Pictures Anthology game. The first was Man of Medan. The second was Little Hope. We first learned about House of Ashes in October 2020, as the first teaser trailer for it showed up in Little Hope. While each entry is standalone, they share a common narrator. Entries so far also had a few similar plot threads.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes will come to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021.
