A Build-a-Bear Scorbunny plush toy will appear on May 6, 2021, adding to its roster of Pokemon stuffed animals. The company sent out an email to Inside Stuff Bonus Club members revealing the online-exclusive bundle. However, the stuffed toy will be available both online in the bundle and on its own in-stores.
Scorbunny will be the first Pokemon Sword and Shield starter to show up at Build-a-Bear. (Previously, the company focused on first generation starters like Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.) Prices for the single stuffed toy and bundle didn’t appear in the announcement. However, it did show what the online bundle will include. People will get a Scorbunny, a fire-themed pair of pajamas for it to wear, and a fiery cape with white fur on the edge. There will also be a five-in-one sound chip with the character’s cries from the game.
This marks the second Build-a-Bear Pokemon plush for 2021. The first was Mew. It showed up in February 2021. If we go by the current prices for the company’s bundles in this line, Scorbunny will likely end up costing between $55 and 61. (The Pikachu bundle is only $46.50, but it also only includes one outfit.)
The Build-a-Bear Scorbunny plush will appear on May 6, 2021.
