Kotobukiya has started taking pre-orders for its Pokemon ArtFX J Cynthia figure. The 1/8 scale figure of the Sinnoh champion along with her Garchomp will launch in September 2021. The figures will cost ¥14,800 (approx. $137), and pre-orders will last until May 25, 2021. As of this writing, the US Pokemon Center does not have a listing of the figure.
Similar to the Gloria ArtFX J figure, this figure was designed by Pokemon character designer Hitoshi Ariga. Cynthia’s figure will stand at around 8.3″ tall, while Garchomp will stand at a slightly shorter 8″. Cynthia’s figure features long flowing voluminous hair, and a billowing coat with a fur fringe. Meanwhile, Garchomp will stand with its wings wide and mouth agape, ready to fight.

Pre-ordering through the Japan Kotobukiya and Pokemon Center stores will also net customers a bonus special illustration of Cynthia and Garchomp.
Cynthia isn’t the only IV Generation character to appear in Kotobukiya’s lineup. Additionally, the company also announced that it is working on a new ArtFX J Pokemon figure of Lucas and his starter, Chimchar. The figure was announced via the official Kotobukiya Twitter account, and it will appear some time in 2022. There are currently no photos of the figure, but it is confirmed that it will also be designed by Hitoshi Ariga.
