This model comes with special Joy-cons, and a unique Nintendo Switch dock. Additionally, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be pre-loaded onto the console and immediately available to play. This unique model was originally available to pre-order before the game released in March 2020. The model had originally been announced in January 2020.

The Switch dock and Joy-cons were previously made available to purchase separately from the console. However, these items are currently not in-stock, and there is no indication as to if these items will be available to purchase through the My Nintendo Store in the future.

Additionally, an exclusive Nintendo Switch Lite bundle appeared in Europe that was available to obtain for a limited time. This version of the console was available in two colors. Consumers would receive a code for Animal Crossing: New Horizons with their purchase of the console.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch.
