Pre-registrations have begun for Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. With it, Netmarble has revealed pre-registration and invite rewards players can receive once the game officially launches. Users can sign up for pre-registration via the Cross Worlds official website, and pre-register for the app via the Google Play and App Store. As of this writing, pre-registrations have only been announced for Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Coupled with invite codes, each step in the pre-registration process will reward players with unique in-game items and cosmetics. Users who pre-register using an e-mail address through the official website will receive 100 Small HP Potions, 50,000 Gold, and a “Happy Funya” in-game sticker.
Additionally, users who pre-register for the game through the Google Play and App Stores will receive the “Byakuou,” a companion familiar that resembles a horse-bull hybrid.
Finally, users can invite friends to pre-register after signing up. By using the ticket code or invite link, users will be able to invite up to 5 players to pre-register. Both players who invite friends and the invitees will receive special cosmetics after completing the “Udada (mount)” quest.
Invitees can receive 10 Costume Summoning Tickets, used to change the character’s appearance after completing the quest. Once all five invitees complete the mission, the user who invited them will receive an “Udada hat.”
The Udada, a large cat that will be used as a mount in the game, was also featured in a series of new videos released together with the start of pre-registrations. Three new videos were uploaded via the Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds official YouTube Channel. One video features artists working on the game and provides a behind-the-scenes look at Cross Worlds‘ character models and illustrations. Teaser trailers from TGS 2020 also featured information about the game’s five classes.
