Square Enix announced that NieR Reincarnation will have a collaboration event with NieR Replicant. The collaboration event begins on March 31, 2021, and features Nier, Kainé and Emil from NieR Replicant. Additionally, Square Enix revealed details regarding the special commemoration event celebrating 10 million downloads, which will be held from March 20, 2021 to March 31, 2021 [Thanks, GameWith!]
The collaboration event will celebrate the release of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… on April 23, 2021. The announcement trailer shows the character designs for the three new characters, as well as gameplay and combat. Kainé’s character introduction also includes the signature bleep censor that is prominent in her Japanese voice lines.
Included in the event will be a special collaboration quest. Players can get event-exclusive gear through collecting and handing in coins. Additionally, players have the chance of rolling collaboration-exclusive versions of Nier, Kainé, and Emil. Finally, players can also receive up to 2500 free gems, as well as the iron pipe used by the Nier in the prologue of Nier Replicant as a login bonus.

Separately, the 10 million download celebration event will have 4 separate ongoing campaigns. This includes 10 free rolls with a guaranteed chance to receive one 3-star weapon, a log in bonus that can net players up to 3000 gems, a special celebration daily quest where players can get gems, upgrade materials and tickets, and double the chance to get a 1.5x experience bonus when upgrading a character or weapon.
All campaigns with the 10 million download celebration, except the login bonus, will run from March 20, 2021 to March 31, 2021. The gem login bonus campaign will run from March 21, 2021 to March 31st.
NieR Re[in]carnation is currently available on Android and iOS devices in Japan, with a global release planned in the near future. NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 23, 2021.
