Monster Hunter Rise Free Title Updates Will Include Chameleos

Monster Hunter Rise will receive post-game free title updates, which will allow players to increase their Hunter Rank. Additionally, the Chameleos will make a return. Several other monsters will be included in these updates as well. These updates will be available entirely for free, with the first update arriving in late April 2021. More information will be revealed at a later date.

This information was revealed during the most recent Monster Hunter announcement broadcast. The broadcast itself shared information about Monster Hunter Stories 2, which included a release date and new trailer. Additionally, a short gameplay video was revealed for the Rampage game mode in Monster Hunter Rise, alongside a new trailer.

The information regarding the post-game free title updates appeared during the end of the Monster Hunter Rise broadcast. This included the reveal of the Chameleos. This monster showed up in previous Monster Hunter titles and will be part of the line-up sometime after launch. Other fan favorite monsters that will appear in Monster Hunter Rise right away include the Nargaguca, Zinogre, and Mizutsune.

Additionally, a second Monster Hunter Rise demo is scheduled to appear on March 11, 2021. This demo will feature a fight against the fearsome Magnamalo. Players will not need to download a new version of the demo, instead it can be accessed from the demo downloaded during the previous free period.

Monster Hunter Rise will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021.
