Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 Will Appear in 2022

Back at Bitsummit Gaiden in June 2020, Inti Creates revealed Azure Striker Gunvolt 3. Now, we have a better idea of when we’ll get to play it. At NGPX 2021, the company revealed a 2022 launch window for the game.

Members of the development team spoke about the game during its segment. First, Keiji Inafune showed up to discuss the game. He’s the Action Supervisor and Executive Producer. He confirmed the new release window and noted that Director Yoshihisa Tsuda and he are working on it.

The video also introduced a new staff member. Hiroki Miyazawa will act as Action Director too. Miyazawa appeared after being introduced to discuss development and said it’s at “full pace.” Previously, he acted as Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon Series Director.

When the game was revealed, so were its two heroes. People will be able to use Gunvolt, who appeared in previous games. They’ll also follow Kirin, a new heroine.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 will come to the Switch in 2022.
