No More Heroes 3’s Henry Cooldown and Voice Actors Revealed

Following the Nintendo Direct announcement about No More Heroes 3’s August 2021 release, Director Goichi “Suda51” Suda tweeted more information about the new character designs and the English cast. He went into extra detail when it came to the No More Heroes 3 version of Henry Cooldown.

Quinton Flynn will not return as Henry Cooldown, protagonist Travis’s "twin brother and ultimate rival." Instead, Mark Allan Stewart will provide his voice. He previously appeared as Ozaki in Judgment, Oleg in Saints Row, and Lu in Legend of Korra. Noshir Dalal (Varko Grey in Star War: Squadron) and Scott Whyte (Crash in Crash Bandicoot 4) will also join the cast as new characters FU and Mr. Blackhole.

In addition to a new voice actor in No More Heroes 3, Henry Cooldown will sport a new look designed by Silver 2425 Character Designer Takashi Miyamoto. He first appeared as Travis’s enemy, before becoming an ally in the second game.

Mr. Blackhole is the No. 10 ranked assassin and is part of FU’s alien army. Artist Masanori Ushiki designed both Mr. Blackhole and FU.

The No More Heroes series follows Travis Touchdown, an anime and professional wrestling otaku, on his journey to become the number one assassin in the UAA after he won a beam katana in an internet auction. No More Heroes 1 and 2 were originally released on the Nintendo Wii, but have since been ported onto the Nintendo Switch.

No More Heroes 3 will release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on August 27, 2021.
