The Steam release for Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After will see a slight delay. The official Twitter account for the series updated fans with a playful tweet. The publisher is now aiming to release the title sometime in early February.
Originally intended for release in late January, Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After is a collection of short stories in the series. The publisher claims it’s the series’ “darkest and most downer game yet.” Based on the Alternative Chronicles off-shoot, The Day After details the events following Unlimited, when the hero fails. The collection will have four episodes in total. Check out the tweet below:
We’re sorry everyone, the BETA closed in our defense line at the last minute, delaying the release of Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After.
However, we’ve improved strategies since then, and have been fighting to release the game within early February!

The Muv-Luv series is very expansive with many off-shoots. The Muv-Luv Alternative manga recently released in English on storefronts like Amazon. The series also had a Kickstarter in 2015, and the final video game from that project, Muv-Luv Photonmelodies, launched in 2020.
After a slight delay, the Steam version of Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After will now launch in early February.
