The new Fruits Basket anime adaptation will end in 2021. Now, we have a better idea of when that will happen. Fruits Basket the Final episodes will begin airing in Japan in April 2021. Like the other seasons of the show, which started showing up in 2019, people will be able to watch them via stations like TV Aichi, TV Osaka, and TV Tokyo. [Thanks, Anime News Network!]
The official website updated with two images in honor of the announcement. The first is a more general image to mark Fruits Basket the Final anime’s debut. It has Arisa Uotani, one of the supporting cast members, hugging heroine Tohru Honda.
The other new image is a piece of key art. It features two of the major central figures for this last season, Tohru and antagonist Akito Sohma.
There’s no English streaming date for the final season of the new Fruits Basket anime yet. However, Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hulu all have the first and second seasons available. The original anime adaptation from 2001 is also available on services like Funimation and Hulu. Also, the Fruits Basket original manga and Fruits Basket Another sequel series are both available in English.
