It will soon be possible to attempt to head up the spire and slay every foe in your path again. But this time, it’ll perhaps be a bit more convenient for some. The Slay the Spire Android port is finally on the way. People will be able to find it on Google Play on February 3, 2021. Google Stadia aside, this will mean all major platforms will be covered.
For those unfamiliar, Slay the Spire involves collecting a deck of cards that represent abilities. You select your path up the spire, fighting enemies, visiting shops, camping, and encountering bosses. As you do, you accumulate new cards and can improve existing ones. If you fail, you start back at the beginning.
There’s also a brief launch trailer, which gives you an idea of how the Slay the Spire Android version will look. You can get an idea of how the UI will look in this version. It also offers a chance to see how clear it might look on a mobile device.
This isn’t the first time Slay the Spire has gone mobile. Previously, the deck-building game appeared on Apple iOS devices. It debuted there in June 2020. Though the Switch version was the first to offer a handheld experience in June 2019.
The Slay the Spire Android version will show up on Google Play on February 3, 2021. It is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and iOS devices.
