Even though it uses different technology to work, the Hitman 3 Switch port won’t arrive any later. IO Interactive announced on Twitter that Hitman 3 Cloud Version will appear on January 20, 2021, the same day the full version will show up on other consoles and computers.
As a reminder, the Nintendo Switch version of Hitman 3 functions slightly different than others. This is because you’re actually streaming while you play in a manner similar to, say, Google Stadia. So the client is on your Switch, and you need an active internet connection to play. It also means that your general experience and the appearance could vary, depending on how strong your connection is.
This is one of multiple announcements made now that the game’s launch is upon us. For example, we found out there will be six different places to visit earlier in January 2021, and IO Interactive even offered a general idea of when Agent 47 will visit each place during the campaign.
Hitman 3 Cloud Version will show up on the Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2021, the same day the standard version of Hitman 3 will appear on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC via Epic Games Store,
