The Pokemon Company shared a new trailer for New Pokemon Snap alongside the release date for the upcoming title. You can expect to get your hands on New Pokemon Snap on April 30, 2021. The latest trailer showcases environments that players will explore to photograph Pokemon seen throughout the series.
Pokemon from Pokemon Sword and Shield, such as Grookey, can be spotted in the trailer, while fan favorites like Pichu and Wooper also make an appearance. However, it seems like Professor Oak won’t be who the player will report to in this installment, as a different professor is shown in the video. In addition, two different player avatars options shown in the initial clip.
Pre-orders will open on January 15, 2021, with Japanese pre-order rewards including a special Lapras name tag that players can use with the Pokemon Mezastar arcade machines.

New Pokemon Snap was originally revealed in June 2020. That reveal announced that title was in development, but had not disclosed a release date. The first trailer gave viewers a brief look at the environments and a few Pokemon that will make an appearance in the photography simulator.
New Pokemon Snap will release worldwide on April 30, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch.
