A new round of My Nintendo rewards appeared, and Nintendo is getting into the holiday spirit in North America. People can now spend their Platinum Points on two sorts of physical items. One is a Mario ornament, while the other is a set of three Super Mario-themed holiday cards.
The greeting cards are the cheaper of the two items. For 300 Platinum Points, you get three blank cards with matching envelopes. Each one has an iconic character holding a present. So you could send someone a Bowser, a Mario, or a Peach and your well wishes.
The Mario ornament is the more expensive of the two new My Nintendo rewards. You’ll need to have 800 Platinum Points on hand to pick one up. While the exact materials aren’t mentioned, it is made of a shatterproof material. So you don’t have to worry about hanging Mario on a tree, then finding ornament shards a day or two later.
Since these are physical rewards, the redemption process is a bit different. After you redeem your code, you head to the official Nintendo Store online. Then, you go to the product page for either the cards or ornament and click “Add to Cart” to get the prompt to enter your code. You will have to pay the cost of shipping to get the item(s).
These are only some of the new My Nintendo physical rewards added. Most recently, a Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity memo pad appeared. Before that, people had the option of getting origami paper, zipper cases, posters, and lanyards.
