Nippon Ichi Software released the latest trailer for Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny that focuses on the story and characters.

The story trailer starts with an introduction to the God of Destruction. This isn’t just any God of Destruction, but the strongest ever recorded. Countless worlds and demons have been reduced to nothingness by the God of Destruction, who threatens all of the Netherworlds. However, the God of Destruction was already defeated by a zombie boy named Zed. The story is about one zombie’s journey through Super Reincarnation after Super Reincarnation.

The Japanese trailer highlights more characters from Zed’s adventure. The previous trailer from Japan showed us what’s new to the series in Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny. You can read about some of the new battle functions, and quality of life features here.
Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 28, 2021. The game will release for the Switch in the West in Summer 2021. Earlier this month, fans participated in a poll to decide on Disgaea 6‘s official cover art.
