This new trailer feature introduces the Reaper’s Game, which threatens to erase the participants from existence. Additionally, the trailer provides a short snippet of the opening theme “TEENAGE RIOT” by ALI. The World Ends With You anime will air in Japan sometime in April 2021.
Neku and Shiki take center stage in the trailer, demonstrating their psych skills, while other characters like Joshua and Sho are shown briefly. While the new The World Ends With You anime trailer only has Japanese voice acting, subtitles are available in English.
