An odd and unexpected crossover is here. Ubisoft is apparently attempting to tap into the Adventure Time audience with a new video. There’s an Immortals Fenyx Rising Adventure Time crossover commercial out now. As you might expect, the cartoon does its best to make Fenyx seem powerful and cool.
This is an incredibly brief segment, but it does feature the same animation style and Jeremy Shada and John DiMaggio as Finn and Jake. While a player can customize their Fenyx and choose their gender, this Immortals Fenyx Rising Adventure Time video goes with the female version of the protagonist. Basically, Finn and Jake are on an adventure, face an enemy that overwhelms them (which seems a bit out of character, all things considered), and Fenyx has to save the day.
Here’s the full video.
Immortals Fenyx Rising is an action-adventure game with shades of The Legend of Zelda influences. After a shipwreck leaves Fenyx stranded on an island, they’ll have to visit seven areas connected to the gods. In each one, they’ll deal with both monsters and puzzles to defeat Typhon and set the gods free.
Immortals Fenyx Rising will debut on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia on December 3, 2020.
